Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage After Care 

Hydration: Drink plenty of water after your massage to help flush out toxins and support the lymphatic system.

 

Recommended: 100 ml per day or half your body weight in fluid ounces. 

 

Rest: You may feel fatigue. If you feel tired please take time to rest following your session to allow your body to recover and benefit from the treatment. 

 

Avoid Strenuous Activities: Refrain from heavy exercise or strenuous activities for at least 24-48 hours post-treatment.

 

Monitor Your Body: Pay attention to how your body feels after the massage. If you experience any unusual discomfort or swelling, contact your healthcare provider. 

 

Follow-Up Appointments: Schedule any recommended follow-up appointments with your healthcare provider to monitor your progress.

 

Gentle Movement: Engage in light stretching or gentle walks to promote circulation without overexerting yourself. Low-impact exercises are recommended such as yoga, pilates, and barre.

 

Skin Care: If you have any areas of sensitivity or bruising, avoid applying lotions or creams directly to those areas for the first 24 hours.

 

Nutrition: Maintain a balanced diet to support your healing process, focusing on nourishing foods rich in antioxidants. 

 

Follow Specific Instructions: If your healthcare provider has provided specific instructions, be sure to follow those closely.
